Elf Maiden

Whew, it's finally done. This lil sucker took me about 10 hours.

I wanted to try a painting technique instead of my usual cel shading style. It's my first attempt, so please be kind ;(

It took me ages to work out how to blend the colours properly, and even then, I don't feel that I got the darkest parts of the skin properly. I also have issues with the lightness of the hair. The skin is too light and washes the whole image out when it's placed with the hair. The more I look at it, the more I dislike about it >__<

The hair was a real biatch too.

Anyways, this is another reworking of my character Shiroko. I gave her an eye colour change too. No more albino red. Now they're a pretty green. Those things in her hands are Sickles made of ice.....ice-sickles.....icicles >__>

Sketched and inked by hand, scanned, and coloured in Photoshop 7 with a WACOM tablet.
